Efe and I met during our national service in 2021, and from the very beginning, we became close friends. We attended church together, joined prayer meetings, and spent time at various social gatherings. Being around her always felt natural and peaceful.
Efe was a true prayer warrior when she prayed, it felt like mountains could move. Watching her devotion and strength in faith made me admire her deeply. Before I realized it, my admiration had grown into something more. I had feelings for her, but I kept them to myself at first because I was a bit shy.
As time went on, I found myself growing closer to her than ever before. Then one evening, after a powerful prayer meeting, I gathered the courage to speak my heart. I told her how I truly felt about her.
To my joy, she accepted me and just like that, we became a couple. Our love blossomed beautifully, and even our friends couldn’t hide their admiration (and a little jealousy too.
After our national service, we both went our separate ways in search of jobs in our respective regions. It wasn’t easy there were moments of uncertainty and struggle but we held on to each other and to our dreams. After a year of persistence and hard work, we both secured our dream jobs.
With that milestone achieved, we began preparing for marriage, just as we had promised each other. Four months later, we tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony filled with love, joy, and gratitude.
Five years down the line, our family has grown we are now blessed with three children. Through all the ups and downs, we continue to cherish every moment together, enjoying the journey of love, faith, and companionship each day.❤️
