Cheating & Betrayal

Friendship to Betrayal !!!😭

Friendship to Betrayal !!!😭

Dora and I had been friends for as long as anyone could remember. From childhood laughter under the moon light to late-night conversations about dreams and fears, our bond felt unbreakable. People often said we were more like sisters than friends. Dora trusted me with everything her secrets, her struggles, even the quiet pain she carried in her heart. So when she finally found love and shared every detail with me, it wasn’t just excitement it was trust laid bare. I listened, smiled, and gave advice. I was there through every stage.

But trust, once cracked, doesn’t always make a sound.

It started subtly. I became distant, I my responses to her was shorter, my visits to her place become less frequent. This was because, I wanted all she had. I was full of jealously.. Dora noticed, but dismissed it, believing friendship didn’t need constant reassurance. She trusted me too much to question me. So I started talking bad about her and turning our friends against her.

Then came the day everything fell apart. Dora walked into a place she never expected to find herself standing face to face with the truth she had never imagined. The person she loved and the friend she trusted together. Not by accident. Not by misunderstanding. But by choice. In that moment, the world didn’t shatter loudly. It went silent.

I couldn’t meet her eyes. The same eyes that once held loyalty now carried guilt. But guilt doesn’t erase betrayal.

“Why?” Dora finally asked, her voice trembling under the weight of disbelief.

I had no answer that could mend what she had broken. Because some betrayals aren’t mistakes they are decisions. Dora realized then that the deepest pain wasn’t losing love. It was losing the person she thought would never hurt her. The one she had defended, believed in, and trusted without doubt. Trust, once broken, doesn’t return the same way. It changes shape. It carries scars. She walked away that day not just from a relationship, but from a version of herself that believed loyalty was always returned in equal measure.

I lost something far more valuable than she ever understood.

Because love can be found again.

But a true friend is not easily replaced.

Dora, I mess up. Please find a place in your heart to forgive.🙏🙏
